The storage facilities at Box-It North Midlands meet the principle requirements of
BS 5454:2000 ensuring that they are safe from fire, theft, flood and the appropriate environmental parameters.
Warehouse
Box-It North Midlands currently occupies a
large warehouse which has an estimated capacity of 55,000 archive boxes. The warehouse is situated in a secure location on the outskirts of Burton-on-Trent where there is ample room for expansion.
Intruder and Fire Protection
Our warehouse is fitted with modern intruder and fire protection systems, which are connected via BT Redcare to the appropriate emergency services. In the unlikely event that there is an emergency the police or fire brigade will be contacted automatically and requested to attend.
Environment
As part of our Quality Policy we make sure that the stored document boxes are maintained to the highest standard.
We control the relative humidity within the
warehouse to a maximum of 65% preventing the paperwork from deteriorating through dampness
In addition we have a stringent pest control policy ensuring that no vermin are present within the warehouse.
